Request written comments on the draft plan and any other issues that fall under the purview of Planning and Zoning and which should be included. Comments due May 23rd.

May 16, 2008- Preliminary Draft POCD announcement via Department Newsletter
May 28, 2008- Planning and Zoning Commission reviews comments and modify plan as deemed appropriate.
May 31, 2008- Draft plan filed with Town Clerk and posted to Website. Filed in library and advertised
availability in weekly planning newsletter. (130 interested recipients) Request written comments by June 20th.
May 31, 2008-Refer Draft plan to local stakeholders, such as Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business District, North End Action Team, Nehemiah Housing, Village District, AWARE, Westfield Residents Association. Request written comments by June 20th.
May 31, 2008- Request public comments due June 20th.
June 25, 2008- Planning and Zoning Commission reviews comments and modify plan, as deemed appropriate.
June 25, 2008- Schedule public hearing on Chapters 1-5 Current Conditions for July 9th.
June 26, 2008- File Final Draft Plan with Town Clerk and post to Website and Library. Note: All public hearing notices filed in Town Clerks Office, advertised twice in newspaper, on website and email newsletter.
July 9, 2008- Planning and Zoning Commission Public Hearing on Chapters 1-5 (current conditions). Planning and Zoning Commission approved Chapters 1-5 (Statutory
requirement to update plan satisfied.)
