Community Development Survey- Give us your input on how Middletown should spend $2.5 million!
Middletown's Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC) oversees and makes recommendations to the Mayor and the Common Council on the use
of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) that is given to Middletown annually.
The board fulfills the following requirements:
- Fulfills the citizen participation requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and Public Act No. 75-443, as amended;
- Prepares and recommends grant applications for Community Development Block Grant Funding to the Mayor and the Common Council;
- Monitors the progress of all funded programs, and;
- Makes recommendations to the Mayor and the Common Council regarding the implementation of CDBG funded programs.
The Citizens Advisory Committee meets the third Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM in Room 208. See the Department Calendar for next meeting.
The agenda is available the Friday prior to each meeting.
