Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency Current Board Membership - Agendas - Minutes - Legal Notices - City Ordinance The primary purpose of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency is to provide for the protection, preservation and maintenance of the City's wetlands and watercourses. This Agency establishes wetland regulations and boundaries and decides upon petitions for changes to the regulations. The Agency issues permits for activities within wetlands or the 100 foot regulated buffer area and enforces the Inland Wetland Regulations To see wetlands areas take a look at the Wetlands Map on the City's Web GIS system. The members of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council. Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. The agenda for each meeting is available the Friday prior to each meeting. The deadline to get on the agenda is eight (8) working days prior to each meeting. Public Hearing legal notices are available within a week after the previous meeting has been held. Public Notices of Decisions will be available within a week after the previous meeting.
