New healthcare facilities include:

  • Middlesex Hospital constructed at 35,000 square foot Emergency Room addition to the main hospital campus
  • Middletown Orthopedic Associates expanded and constructed a new 29,864 square foot medical services facility at 512 Saybrook Road and a new Surgery Center at 510 Saybrook Road

In the Interstate 91 Trade Zone, new developments include:

  • Joe Capasso Mason Enterprises relocated to Middletown and built a corporate headquarters at 251 Middle Street
  • Galleria Stone expanded by building a new 55,798 square foot sales, sample and distribution facility at 241 Middle Street
  • Norpaco, Inc. relocated to Middletown and built a 70,000 square foot food manufacturing facility at Liberty Commerce Park
  • Mack Fire Protection moved to 15 Industrial Park Place and built a 7,500 square foot addition
